Flowers are my passion, and it's
a privilege to be able to create beautiful, life-like flowers and foliage from
sugar. I can create floral decorations for your cake to mirror a wedding bouquet,
if you wish, or produce a spray of favourite flowers for a special occasion
cake. Virtually anything that nature can grow can be recreated in sugar to stunning
effect and, with care, sprays of sugar flowers can be kept for years as a memento
of your special day.
These are large, colourful flowers that really make a statement. Much-loved sunflowers are bold and exuberant, their bright yellow petals seeming to reflect the warmth of the sun. Gerberas, which have increased greatly in popularity in recent years, come in an incredibly wide range of colours, from coolest white, through to vibrant crimson and cerise. The spectacularly beautiful peony is idolised in China, and is said to denote luxury and indulgence. All these flowers are hand made in sugar. |
