Handmade Sugar Flowers 1 - Through
the Seasons
Flowers are my passion, and it's
a privilege to be able to create beautiful, life-like flowers and foliage from
sugar. I can create floral decorations for your cake to mirror a wedding bouquet,
if you wish, or produce a spray of favourite flowers for a special occasion
cake. Virtually anything that nature can grow can be recreated in sugar to stunning
effect and, with care, sprays of sugar flowers can be kept for years as a memento
of your special day.
Flowers and fruits can be so evocative
of a particular time of year, from snowdrops & primroses,
bluebells & violets, daffodils and narcissi that herald
Spring, through to the Christmas cactus, the hellebore
(Christmas rose) and the stunning poinsettias that bloom
around the close of the year. And how Autumnal is the
sight of ripe blackberries and blossoms? All below are
hand made from sugar. |
